My daughter lives in northern Sweden. While I love visiting her, winters can be a little harsh. I much prefer being there in the spring or summer. During last summer’s visit I took photographs of a collection of beautiful wildflowers growing in front of the workshop building. The contrast of the old, cracked wall of the building, and the colorful new growth in front of it captivated me. This is one of the paintings I did reflecting on that scene.
